Bonomi Group reaffirms its concrete commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees.
The fourth screening project, this year focused on the prevention of thyroid pathologies, was launched in October in collaboration with Fondazione ANT Italia ONLUS.
All employees of the group's companies were offered the opportunity to participate in medical check-ups completely free of charge.
The examinations, aimed at the early diagnosis of possible thyroid disorders, took place at the company infirmaries and, where these were not present, thanks to the mobile clinic purchased with the contribution of several companies, including Bonomi Group.
Over 500 employees took part in the initiative, underlining the importance of prevention as an integral part of the group's approach to health protection.
Each prevention project represents a fundamental part of the company's strategy, which aims to guarantee healthy working environments and promote employees' physical and mental well-being, with constant attention to their health and quality of life.

BONOMI GROUP WON THE WELFARE CHAMPION 2024 AWARD
Bonomi Group won the Welfare Champion 2024 award for the first year, assigned to all the best Italian companies for their commitment to welfare.
The survey was taken of 7,000 enterprises, ranging from 5 to 1,000 employees, and of these, only 142 were awarded.
The award had already been obtained by Rubinetterie Bresciane Bonomi in previous years (2019-2020-2021-2022) and this confirms the strong commitment of the entire group to the main areas being awarded:
- Health and care: it provides free vaccination and cancer prevention campaigns during working hours.
- Work-life balance: it promotes the culture and models of flexible work organization centered on people's responsibility and performance evaluation.
- Human capital development: it encourages professional training and the development of soft and hard skills. The group companies are open to provide corporate training to students and young jobseekers and to cooperate with various schools and universities to spread knowledge of the world of work, to assess aptitudes and guide choices.
- Family support for education and culture: it encourages rewarding initiatives, such as the awarding of merit scholarships.
- Rights, diversity and inclusion: it supports corporate initiatives for women's empowerment and leadership and for the social inclusion of fragile individuals.
- Working conditions and safety: it disseminates and ensures measures for quality and safety at work.
- Social responsibility towards consumers and suppliers: it respects and spreads measurement systems, such as sustainability ratings that make social commitment recognizable to consumers and lenders and to the public, etc. In 2022 the first group sustainability report was drawn up showing the commitment to social, environmental and governance (ESG) values in the conduct of all activities.
- Community Welfare: it promotes corporate initiatives that benefit communities and corporate services open to the territory. Bonomi Group is among the founding members of the WelStep business network with the aim of promoting common welfare initiatives in the area of Brescia.
Improving the group's social impact by taking care of the well-being of workers and their families and safeguarding the business climate by creating a positive work environment that values mutual respect, collaboration, and transparency, have become a programmatic commitment not separated from Bonomi Group's objectives and business management.
The Welfare Index PMI award achieved again for the 2024 edition accentuates the work that Bonomi Group accomplishes every day in each of its companies to ensure a work environment where everyone can feel good and express their potential to the fullest.

IN-COMPANY PREVENTION AND HEALTH BENEFITS
Prevention is essential to reduce risks and localise disease early, but it is not always carried out regularly. Bonomi Group wanted to facilitate this action by giving all employees the opportunity to carry out free screening, on a voluntary basis, during working hours at the offices of the group's companies.
Since 2022, Bonomi Group has started to collaborate with Fondazione ANT, the non-profit organisation offering specialist assistance, with cancer prevention projects. The project has met with great success and has become an annual initiative: in 2023 the melanoma campaign was organised, in 2024 the thyroid campaign will be carried out, to be followed in 2025 by the breast and breast cancer campaign.
The visits will take place in the infirmary or in a mobile ambulatory donated by a group of entrepreneurs, including Bonomi Group.
Bonomi Group has always been attentive to the issue of its employees' health by undertaking a series of facilitations with the national health service, through the metasalute fund envisaged by the metalworkers' contract or directly, for example, with free vaccination campaigns, active for over 15 years.
For the Bonomi Group, it is essential to allow employees to work safely by protecting their health in the workplace, but it is equally important to support them in taking care of their health outside the confines of their professional activity.
