1) Is it possible to use the carbon steel pipe and press fittings programs for compressed air installations?
Sure. Of course the applicable pressure range is the same as for hydraulic systems (16bar) and it is recommended to evaluate the use of orings made of FKM (Viton) instead of standard EPDM according to the presence of oil in the air.

2) Is it possible to use the carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and press fittings programs for fire fighting installations?
In sprinkler fire fighting installations it is possible to use both carbon steel or stainless steel program, while for hydrants networks at present the only stainless steel program is usable.

3) Is it possible to use the carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and press fittings programs for fire fighting installations?
The picture (art. 500600 dia. 15 x 16, 18 x 20, 22 x 20, 22 x 26 e 28 x 32) allows pressing on one side a carbon steel / stainless steel press fitting and on the other side a multilayer pipe. Just make sure that the same pressing tool is provided with a “M” profile jaw to press steel and a “TH” profile jaw to press the multilayer pipe.

4) What are the typical dimensions of the parts to be manufactured by the OEM division?
For what regards bar machining, parts from 8 mm bore to size 73 are turnable; forged parts can be supplied in the weight range from 20 g to 4 kg.
The available resources are multispindle lathes Gildemeister, Shuette, Mory Say and Index, CNC universal lathes Gital, forging presses Mecolpress and Hydromec, transfer machines Gnutti and Sala.

5) What alloys are in use?
For customized products we have deep experience with brass alloys CW614-CW617 and with dezincing-resistant alloy CW602. We commonly manufacture alloy CW510-CW511 (lead-free), bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb5 and free-cutting steel 11SMnPb37.

6) Do you have a B2B purchase order app available?
Yes. Early in year 2006 we started using the Angaisa B2B standard platform, which brought many advantages to all those customers of ours willing to exchange purchase orders, order confirmations and delivery notes.
You can find more information on the Angaisa website - ANGAISA B2B - and please remember we are always ready to help you if you choose to take up this procedure.
